Esperenza slipped into the cabin and set her bags on a bed near the corner. She set her bags down gently and pulled out a pearly white sheet. She spread it on the bed along with a matching silk comforter. She set two egyptian cotton pillows on the bed and started putting her clothes away. She set a lamp on her bedside table and the 6th Harry Potter book beside it. She sighed and sat down.

Esperenza looked up and shook Lucy's hand gently. Her skin was so dark next to Lucy's she felt a little out of place. "I am Esperenza." she spoke so quietly that it was almost a whisper. Though it was quiet, you could clearly hear her heavy spanish accent.

Esperenza nodded delicately and spoke a little louder, "Yes, um, her name is Majestic Jade. She is the arabian. My brother rides King of Thieves."

Esperenza smiled weakly and nodded again, dark locks falling into her face. "I have always wanted a pony to ride, a Welsh Pony to be exact. My friend has one in Spain." she murmered, looking up into Lucy's face.

Esperenza's face lit up at the idea. "Oh, really? That would be great!" she exclaimed standing up. Her face turned bright red and she sait back down onto the bed. "I'd have to ask my uncle first though. Do you mind if I call?" she asked motioning to a metallic light blue cell phone.

She grinned at the photo. "He's adorable!" she exclaimed. Then she turned to her phone and dialed her Uncle's number. "Hola, el Tío Antonio, es Esperenza. ¡Cómo usted es? .....that's bueno. .....well hay un caballo que es realmente mono y. Gracias ....yes......okay,! ¡Gracias tanto! Adiós. " she giggled and looked at Lucy. "He's thinking about it." she said. "Which pretty much always means yes." she said grinning from ear to ear. What Lucy didn't know was her Uncle was filthy rich and gave her whatever she wanted.

Lucy smiled back almost as wide."Great!Omigod."Lucy said clutching her stomach."Call Rob.His number is in my phone.Tell him my water broke...."Lucy clutched her very heavy belly and sat down on her bed.

Esperenza gasped and struggled with her phone to dial. "Rob! Lucy's water broke, hurry!" she said hanging up the phone and letting it slip out of her sweaty hands. "It's ok."She soothed Lucy sitting next to her. "Your gonna have a child!" she squeeked and squeezed her hand reassuringly.
